SPECIAL SCHOOL OF SERRES(GREECE)
It
belongs to the Ministry of Education.It has operated for the first time
in 1976 with it's principal,Mr.Karatasi Georgio,who was later to become
a school consultant for special training.
From
it's foundation,there has been a parent's association with
regards to assist in solving problems.Since 1999, ths school exists
dynamically.After it's reconstraction and after
lawfull
proceduresand elections,a new doard of directors has come up.It
consists of:

Chairman and Mrs. Patrikidi Keti:Cashier.
This
school can accept children with:mendal inadequency,learning
disabilities(disorders,δυσαριθμησία?,illegibility?),with
composite
sentimental
and social difficulties,dysplasia(disturbed growing)and
autism,from 4 to 14 years
old.

of our school are divided into groops on specific
criterias.Education,training
and multiple curative intervention are
provided
for each case,with specific programs aiming at:

a child with disabilities,attending this school presuposes:

application made by parents or by a bearer,to the Movable Diagnostic
Team(The
KAAMEA comes to a meeting)as the relevant opinion to be given.
B.A
re-registration has to be made from another school,after having taken a
Κ.Δ.Ο's
opinion eather from general training or from another special
school.
